What would you do if you have a 3-weeks leave?

Not much in my case unfortunately. Especially the 3-weeks leave was due to my nose operation recently.

The first week was brutal. I still can't shake off the effect of the anesthetic. I can't walk or stand long enough before the dizziness kicked in. For most of the time I had to recuperate by sleeping all day.

The second week was a mixed one. I was definitely becoming better but still can't shake off the dizziness. Early in the second week I was away in Singapore attending an exhibition. Fortunately, I didn't faint during walking the long through the event, but I definitely had to sit to rest for most of the time.

By the end of the second week, I managed to enjoyed myself in our fifth anniversary in a resort in Desaru. That was a relief.

The third week was the best. At this time, my body almost at 100%. I managed to ran for 6 consecutive days for the preparation of the Sundown JB due the following week. After two weeks not active, it does felt brutal. My legs felt heavy and my body felt bloated.

It was in the end that I had been the most productive in the whole 3-weeks leave. To keep it worthwhile, I had done a list that I hoped to be completed before I'm gone back to work.

So, after the 3-weeks leave.... I had

went for the 2 days getaway with my family....
wrote 7 blog entries....
read 3 books....
ran for consecutive 6 days... clocking 22km....
send both my car and my wife's for serviced.....
and paid all the bills....

and almost all that had being done in the last week of my leave.

Looking forward to have a long leave again in the future - and hopefully not because of medical leave.

Alhamdullilah.
