Daing (I Think So?)

Chocolate Friday

 It was more than 174 days that I put an entry in this blog.....

To put any writings, I need some mood. The current extra responsibility at work and the lovely Darwisyah really put a dent in the mood to do any writings this year.

So to make the ball to start rolling, I might start with something simple.

Let's talk about my running activities first.

This year I decided to change how I'm going to choose my running event. Since the baby arrived, I don't think I want to be off to KL every single week. And I also don't think running in the 10km event will be worth it any more. I already done it for 3 straight years and now is the time to move on.

So starting from this year, I'll will only getting involve in the half marathon runs. And it'll be only once/year. I make the exception to join any 10km runs if it happens in JB. But not anywhere else. Right now I'm not keen on the quantity.

So how is the preparation? I already made peace that I will never ever fully prepared for a half marathon. It already happened in the past and it is still the same this time. I think I just try to enjoy it as much as I can instead of being edgy about the fact it'll cause me 4 hours on the road.

So last Friday.....

Haziq really loves chocolate and candy like every other kids. Who don't? To curb his addiction, I had controlled his intake once in a while. Currently I managed to make only once/week. Every Friday is a chocolate day.

After buying him the chocolate, next we went to to pick up Darwisyah.

And then it started.

Haziq: Look Abah, I found a rubber band. I want to put it on me to make a ponytail.

Abah: Haziq, don't do that. Only girls have ponytail. Boys don't have ponytail. Are you a boy or a girl?

Haziq: But Daing have a ponytail. And he is a boy.

Abah: Who? Daeng?

Haziq: Daing!

Abah: Daim?

Haziq: Daing!!!

Abah: Dain?

Haziq: DAING!!!!

Abah: Da'a?

Haziq: DAING!!!!! HISH, GERAMNYAAA HAZIQ!!!!!

Abah: Hmmm... OK, sorry. Daing.....

Even at the end I didn't get the actual name of his friend. Maybe it is Daing - I think so?
