Iching for a Kick Start After Raya

Kick starting for training after the Raya is always being tough. May it be in my past or the future, to get my body to familiarize with the routine and the pain is not easy.

The Raya celebration for me this year happened to be better than expected. Lia got her leaves, Haziq didn't put up any fuss during the trips and we managed to visit almost everyone in the one week festival holiday.
Of course no prizes on guessing who among in family that enjoyed the Raya the most.

Back on running. I have some pretty interesting runs coming up in the months until the end of 2014. The earliest will be the Mizuno Wave Run that will be held in Putrajaya. I'll be running 16km in the event. Preparations seems to be thin. I will need to push myself harder starting from this weekend.

I'm not really worry about that run though since the Mizuno Wave Run is only a kicking board for me for the BSN Night Run in October. This will be my first half marathon after participate in runs for almost three years.

And lastly in December it will be the motherlode of runs for me. It'll be the Standard Chartered Marathon Singapore. Out from a fire hole into another bigger fire hole. The running fee alone costs me RM200. But since Iqbal and his friends joining this run, it'll be now or never.

I'm also excited about some running gear that I had recently purchased or got my hand into. I can't wait to try it all out and write about all of them.

There is this new running shoes.....

And also the running strobe light.....

And also my new spectacle frames....

Finally I need to start writing about my GPS watch.....

Not to forget my new mp3 player that Iqbal passed to me.

All of these new stuff makes me tingle with excitement.

And all I need to figure out very soon is to immediately kick start my training after 30 days resting my legs.
