When the Stars Alligned.
Ancient men relied on the stars and planets for their everyday life and decisions. When to start growing the crops, how to travel by the sea. And before science came, it was the sky that became their source of answers.
When the planets aligned, something big and significant would be happening, the prophecy usually being told.
For the longest time, I never considered anything happening to me in life have some kind of meaning or sign. That was until I met Dahlia.
Because at that moment it was not the planet but the stars that aligned.
I would never met her if I didn't worked at the factory in the first place which was never planned.
I would never got a place in the factory if I didn't took the particular engineering course which was not my main choice.
And there I was, stupidly asking her out when it was clear that she was out of my league.
But it worked!
Incidentally, after knowing her for a while...
She would never considered me if I was in her circle of life before. All the boys around her had been friendzoned even before they could say, "Hai..."
She would never be on the factory of she didn't worked part time for a month as a clerk.
We are not perfect but sometimes we sync with each other.
Like this week when I had the sympathetic pregnancy syndrome. It was hard when both the adults in the house were completely and insanely dizzy and hopeless.
Or like that time when both of us had the same food poisoning. Ironically, I had the fever right after dropping her off at the emergency room.
When one is tardy, the other will be on time.
When one is behaving like a child, another becoming the adult.
When one careless, another becoming the cautious.
Happy 5th Anniversary, Dahlia.
May the stars aligned much more in the future...
