One week before I was running for the Dragon Back Run, I was having a one-week training session at Carey Island. The training is compulsory and I went to the training with my colleague at the office, Khairul.

Facilities were great - feels like a resort |
Most of the training sessions were conducted in-class.Without much movements, I need to do something to maintain my fitness for the weekend's run. So, on Tuesday's morning I decided to do a 3km run at the plantation's road.

The roads are long & winded |
Even right now, I'm glad that I took that run. Doing away from the office for a few days really rest your mind. With the cool breathy morning air, that is one of the best run that have. I even catch up with some of the plantation's history along the way.

The machines were here long before there was palm oil plants on the island |

The golf course club-house. One of the few colonial houses from Pakcik Carey time. Most of them are haunted though. |
It was a great time spent on the island. I've learned a lot from the training. A week away from the office plus the fresh air plus the quiet environment, this is just what I need......
